By Car
The church is right next to the Roman Verulanium museum in St Albans. You
should be able to park the car in the pay and display car park for the museum,
although because the park is very close by and the wedding is on a Saturday
in the middle of summer, you may have some trouble parking as it gets very
busy. Other alternatives are to park on the verge on Bluehouse Hill or in
the car park of the Waffle House (further down on the left of St Michaels
Street, just before the bridge)
The
hotel is the other side of town (about 1.5 miles from the church). There
is a car park at the back of the hotel and plenty of parking on the road
in front of the hotel. For those of you that feel up to it, it is probably
easier to park at the hotel and walk or take a taxi to the church rather
than trying to find parking near the church. It shouldn’t take more
than 30 minutes to walk between the two.

By Rail Thameslink
trains run from various stations in London to St Albans and take about
20 minutes from Kings Cross. You can either take a taxi from the station
to the church or walk through the centre of town which should take about
25-30 minutes at a leisurely stroll (see enclosed map). The hotel is very
close to the station (about a 10 minute walk)
